Influences
|
The first CD, "Pens & Swords", was broadly influenced by the great pop/rock artists of the 70s-90s mentioned above.
The 2nd CD, "Heavy Meadow", is a fusion of acoustic gyspy folk ballad, chamber music, lyrical storytelling and jazz improvisation, blending these traditions.
The 3rd CD, "Love Songs To America", is influenced by traditional Irish/English neo-traditional ballads, similar to Enya, Judy Collins, Sandy Denny, John Renbourn, as well as American ballads. It features the voice of Mara Corti.
The 4th CD, "Quixote", features female vocalists, rendering a mix of pop, new age, country and rock songs. It features Mara Corti, Lauren Dutterer, and Gregg Eisenberg (on "Fool's Journey").
The 5th CDs, "Songs from the Gallery", is a solo album featuring acoustic, pop and folk ballads simply rendered, awaiting more formal production in the future.
The 6th CD is produced by Maury Smith, a friend and excellent, soulful songwriter and performer.
